-officially open the new Juravinski Hospital last August - one of the greatest achievements in the history of Hamilton Health Sciences.
-purchase a new $1-million MRI system for McMaster Children’s Hospital. Now, infants and toddlers with brain tumours can receive crucial MRI scans at Mac Kids.
-build a new Palliative Care family room at St. Peter’s Hospital for patients seeking privacy with loved ones as they transition through their final stages of life.
-purchase two 3-D echocardiography machines for Hamilton General Hospital to diagnose conditions such as heart failure, blocked arteries and infection. Now, surgeons can clearly see a person’s heart to plan the most effective course of treatment and improve patient outcomes.
