FUSE was created by Hamilton Health Sciences Foundation to connect with our community’s next generation of leaders.
FUSE is a dedicated, dynamic group of young professionals in their 20’s and 30’s who meet monthly. They are united by a common goal of fundraising for important Hamilton Health Sciences projects and equipment items. This is accomplished by hosting fundraising events and other networking initiatives, which in turn allow individuals to experience philanthrophic involvement and volunteer leadership.

Thanks to the generosity of these supporters, and event attendees, FUSE was able to raise enough funds to purchase a chelation pump for the McMaster Children's Hospital Hematology/Oncology Clinic! This critical piece of equipment will provide a crucial service by allowing for out-of-hospital iron chelation therapy for patients with a condition known as Thalassemia.

If you're a young professional in the Hamilton region that's interested in joining our FUSE committee - please send an email to neale@hhsc.ca.
