Hamilton Health Sciences Foundation is a registered charitable organization. Through the generosity of our donors, we fund capital redevelopment projects, purchase medical equipment and technology, and we invest in research. Our mission is to support patient care, research and education across the Hamilton Health Sciences family of hospitals; our goal is Health Care, Transformed.

We work to transform the lives of the over 2.3 million patients, families and communities that we serve in south central Ontario and Hamilton. Through the generosity of our over 47,400 donors in 2010 we were able to invest more than $8.2 million in:

healing people recovering from a heart attack or stroke; burn or major trauma
giving hope to people diagnosed with, or being treated for, Cancer
providing comfort to people dealing with Alzheimer's and other complexities of aging and chronic illness
researching the causes, treatments and cures that can transform lives

Hamilton Health Sciences Foundation's mission is to raise funds in support of patient care, research and education for the second largest hospital in Ontario: Hamilton Health Sciences.
