Transformational change is underway at McMaster Children’s Hospital. Over the next two years, three of our major service areas will be relocated to purpose-built spaces optimally designed for children and their families.
Though the redevelopment will enhance patient care and provide additional support for Mac Kids, its increased capacity will also create an urgent need for new hospital equipment. As medical equipment is not funded by the province, Hamilton Health Sciences Foundation launched Essentials for Excellence, a program raising funds to equip our Pediatric Ophthalmology Clinicand Emergency Department.
