Ruth Liebersbach, Anne Bermingham and Yvonne Turner-Moss, are passionate about Breast Cancer, and to show it are taking their fundraising to a whole new level. The three women, who are volunteer members of the CIBC Breast Assessment Centre’s women’s advisory group, just launched The +5 Project, a new peer-to-peer fundraising network they hope will bring in $250,000 to help build and equip the Centre.
Tapping into their extensive pool of personal and professional connections, the trio aim to build a network 500 people who each donate $500 to the cause. The initiative will use the power of the internet, including social media and the a dedicated online giving site to spread the word and recruit members.
