Strides for The General Raises Over $150K for Hamilton General Hospital

On Saturday, September 22, Hamilton Health Sciences Foundation and presenting sponsor, Boston Scientific, hosted the second annual Strides for The General fundraising run/walk. The event, which took place at Hamilton’s Bayfront Park, drew over 600 participants and raised over $152,000 in support of Hamilton General Hospital.

Despite a gloomy forecast, the rain held off and participants were treated to a beautiful, warm and sunny day ideal for running. After navigating the scenic 5K and 10K waterfront routes, those in attendance stayed to enjoy complimentary lunch and live musical entertainment by Uncorked.
