  • When Shabeena and Jaffer moved to Canada, they tried to find care for their son’s cerebral palsy close to their new home in Vaughan, but pandemic lockdowns and long waitlists made that a challenge. Eventually, the family decided to move to Hamilton, not for work or school but for access to the expert pediatric care at @mcmasterchildrens and Ron Joyce Children’s Health Centre for their son, Numair. Numair receives support from multiple hospital departments to help him build strength and stay mobile. For Numair and his parents, this care has made a meaningful difference in their lives.

Thanks to donor support, families like Numair’s can access specialized care, adaptive equipment and advanced research all under one roof. Donate at giftofhealth.ca before December 31 to have your donation matched and double your impact this holiday season.
