Hamilton Health Sciences Foundation is grateful for the ongoing support, provided by the Royal Canadian Legions, across all of the communities we serve.
With funds raised through poppy donations every October and November, Royal Canadian Legions are committed to supporting veterans and their families receiving care at Juravinski Hospital and Cancer Centre, Hamilton General Hospital, and St. Peter’s Hospital.
“The Royal Canadian Legion, Ontario Command is known for poppy fund collections benefiting veterans and their dependents. We are very pleased to report that poppy funds, donations from the Ladies Auxiliary, and branch lottery events help with the purchase of vital medical equipment. It is our passion and purpose to help others wherever there is a need,” says Derek Moore, President Royal Canadian Legions, Ontario Command.
